Enconnex Is ISO 14001:2015 Certified With TUV Rheinland of North America

Enconnex is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future.

Reno, NV – Enconnex, a leading data center and IT infrastructure solutions manufacturer, is now ISO 14001:2015 certified with TUV Rheinland of North America. The company developed an environmental management system (EMS) with criteria to promote sustainability across the organization.

The ISO 14001:2015 standard exists to help organizations of all types minimize the negative impact of their operations on the environment. It guides them through creating a unique, measurable environmental management system (EMS) that serves as the benchmark for continually improving environmental performance.

Enconnex’s environmental policy outlines the following four principles as the cornerstones of its EMS.

  1. Commitment to Compliance and Environmental Regulations
  2. Commitment to Sustainability Initiatives
  3. Development and Implementation of Effective Waste Management Programs
  4. Commitment to Increasing Environmental Awareness

This certification comes on the heels of Enconnex earning the ISO 9001:2015 certification (quality management) with TUV Rheinland of North America in early 2022. Continual improvement is a core value of the organization. It’s something they take seriously.

When asked for a comment about the significance of the certification, Robert Faulkner, VP of Engineering and Operations, said: “Adding the Environmental Management System using the ISO 14001:2015 framework was a natural extension to our Quality Management System under ISO 9001:2015 for our continual focus on responsible operation and growth of the Enconnex business and culture.”

The company’s Quality Manager, Ishpreetsingh Sahani, spearheaded the certification efforts. He collaborated with employees across all business functions and worked diligently to establish meaningful, measurable standards and processes to minimize Enconnex’s negative environmental impact.

When asked for a comment, Ishpreetsingh said: “Our ISO 14001 certification, an extension of our ISO 9001 commitment, highlights the collective effort of our employees. It underscores our dedication to continual improvement, waste reduction, and increasing environmental awareness, contributing to our ongoing commitment to sustainability. It’s not just about being certified; it’s about the daily positive impact our people make, forging a brighter and more sustainable future for our company and the world.”

From the quality of its products to the environmental impact of its operations, Enconnex is seeking to be the best corporate citizen it can be. The company is doing everything it can to lead by example.
